I used Hand Writing Without Tears for P in his pre-k year. He had already known how to write and knew his letters and numbers so we used the Letters and Numbers for Me book for kindergarten. I did not buy any of the other products that go along with the curriculum. There are some free print-offs that have have used. In our school room we have the letter formation charts for print lowercase, print upper I printed off and laminated the templates for the wood pieces that are used to build each capitol letter. We didn't use these much because P already knew his letters and gets bored with repetitive subjects that he already understands. The line spacing also didn't prove to be good for him. P writes small and never like making his letters so large. Sometimes he would use only half of the space given to write his letters. I may use this in the future to teach cursive. HWT is sold at a good price for each workbook.

Little Passports is a mail order global adventure. There are two different subscriptions you can choose, global or states. We have started with the global adventure because I had won a free 3 month subscription. Every month we receive a package about a different country. There is a worksheet, picture, and different interesting facts about the country they send you. There are also online games the kids can play that go along with each country the learn about. The kids do like to look on the map and find out where the countries are compared to the US.
P used the Time4Learning site for most of "Preschool". It really taught P a lot and he usually enjoyed doing the lessons. He is advanced so he was doing kindergarten and 1st grade work, but at his own pace which is nice. Time4Learning gives you the ability to use different levels with each subject as needed. We received this curriculum for a year as a gift, but if I had the means to use it again for both of the kids I would. Both of the kids love interactive learning games on the computer opposed to book work or mom reading.
