Sorry I have been away for a while. We have had some changes around here that we are all trying to get used to. I have recently started watching a neighbor girl who is almost 3 years old. We will call her Lil M here. Depending on the week she is here 2-5 days from about 8:30 AM-4:30PM. Trying to get on a schedule and everyone adjusted has been sort of crazy. And then you add the warm days and playing late outside with friends, I haven't had much energy or motivation so sit in front of my computer.
As of Friday the kids are done with school for at least a month, we will see how the summer goes. For the past few weeks the kids have been doing a little bit of school work during the day, mainly English and math stuff. The rest of the day they are playing together in the house or playing outside. D and Lil M have been getting along really well and play dolls and kitchen most of the time. Here is something I haven't been used to since D was about 18 months, Lil M naps everyday after lunch. We use this time for quiet time, school time, or do stuff Lil M really can't do time.
I am very excited for summer break, not that I get a break too much. This is a time for planning for when school starts up again. I think I am set but I will put out a post about that when the time comes. This week my niece is at my house so I guess I get a break when my kids aren't driving her too crazy.
I will try to put up some posts regularly to keep you informed on how our little lives are going even though we aren't doing "school". Have a great summer all!
Take a step into the life of Auer (pronounced like our) homeschool. We are a family that likes to learn through life experiences, you can call us unschoolers. We would like to share our experiences so maybe we can make a difference in the lives of others.
